Jerry J. Esmond Juvenile Justice Center

The Jerry J. Esmond Juvenile Justice Center services incarcerated male/female youth from the Galveston County area. This facility is staffed 24 hours and juveniles are held for short and/or long-term periods in response to criminal behaviors. Length of stay depends on pre- or post- adjudication status. YFC programming at this facility consists of Mentorships (Inside/Outside facility), Bible Study, and Recreational Time.
