Houston YFC Staff

We are blessed to have a dedicated and growing team of staff who are passionate about serving our local youth.

Jonathan Frost, Executive Director for Youth For Christ Houston

Jonathan moved to Houston in 2001 after joining the Houston Texans marketing team as the Mascot Coordinator. In that position, Jonathan was responsible for all marketing, business development, staffing, game day creative efforts, and program development for his department and was eventually promoted to Mascot Program Manager. He also performed as the team’s mascot, TORO, throughout his tenure. During his time with the team, Jonathan wrote and created three educational school programs that were seen by over 50,000 students at more than 130 schools annually.  As this position required him to be in the community a majority of the time, he made many lasting relationships with individuals, organizations, churches, and schools across our city. Jonathan developed a deep love and loyalty for the city of Houston and its people and is now incredibly proud to call this city his home. After fourteen years with the Houston Texans, Jonathan retired from the sports industry to spend more time with his wife and two young children. He had long felt a call to ministry but was unsure where that would lead. However, through prayer and faith Jonathan was eventually led to Youth For Christ Houston. He now brings all of the enthusiasm he has for young people, the wonderful relationships and experiences from his past career, and his passionate love for Jesus with him to lead the team of Youth For Christ Houston.
